By downloading and using Actbook (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Uladzislau Yasinski grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App on your personal device for lawful purposes only.

- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works
- Sell, rent, lease, or transfer the App or your license
- Use the App for illegal purposes or to violate any laws
3. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Actbook does not guarantee:
- The accuracy, completeness, or legality of information in the App
- That the App will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Specific business outcomes or results
4. Disclaimers Specific to Notary Services
4.1 Not Professional Legal Advice
The App is a tool for record-keeping and scheduling. It is not a substitute for legal counsel. Actbook does not provide:
- Legal advice
- Document review or interpretation
- Guidance on notarization procedures or state law requirements
- Certification of notary status or authority
Always verify your state's requirements and consult an attorney if needed.
4.2 Notary Responsibility
As a notary, you are responsible for:
- Following all applicable state and federal laws
- Maintaining accurate records and compliance
- Proper verification of signers and documents
- Ensuring all actions comply with your commission terms
4.3 No Guarantees of Accuracy
The information provided in the App regarding notary rules, commission renewal dates, or fee guidelines is for reference only and may not be current. Always verify with your state's notary board or legal counsel.
5. Liability Limitations
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Uladzislau Yasinski SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, profits, or business interruption
- Errors in calculations, schedules, or reminders
- Actions taken based on information in the App
Even if Actbook has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Charges occur at the rates shown at purchase. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6.2 Refunds
Refund requests are handled through Apple App Store or Google Play, not by Actbook. See their terms for refund policies.
7. User Content and Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- The legality and accuracy of data you enter (documents, signatures, notes)
- Compliance with applicable laws in creating and storing records
- Maintaining confidentiality of your own backup files
- Security of your device and app access
Actbook is not responsible for:
- Unlawful use of the App
- Violation of third-party rights
- Loss or corruption of your data (including during device changes)
8. Data Storage and Backup
- All data is encrypted and stored on your device only
- The App is excluded from iCloud/cloud backup by default
- Actbook does not back up your data; you are responsible for creating personal backups via export
- Backup protection requires a password you create; Actbook cannot recover forgotten passwords
9. Termination
Uladzislau Yasinski may terminate your access to the App if you violate these terms. Upon termination:
- Your license ends
- You must stop using the App
- You may lose access to paid features
10. Modifications to the App
Uladzislau Yasinski may modify or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. We will attempt to notify users of material changes.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Uladzislau Yasinski and its officers from any claims, damages, or costs arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Violation of these terms
- Infringement of third-party rights
- Unlawful notary practices or document handling
12. Governing Law
